KINGMAN - If you can't afford the ride out to Hollywood, you'll have the opportunity to watch a big-budget film being captured in Lake Havasu City.

Filming is set to begin on Monday for "Piranha 3-D," MTV Movies Blog reported. The film is a remake of the 1978 film directed by Joe Dante. Set for release in 2010, the plot focuses on prehistoric piranhas set loose on unsuspecting college coeds and their male counterparts during spring break.

Richard Dreyfuss, Elisabeth Shue, Jerry O'Connell and Jessica Szohr star in this horror movie. Alexandre Aja, who directed the remake of "The Hills Have Eyes," will be directing "Piranha 3-D."
