MOHAVE COUNTY
Mohave County road crews will be out next week applying aggregate on Diamond Bar Road from milepost 6.5 to 7.5. Crews will also be cleaning up storm damage and repairing road shoulders in Meadview and painting edgelines along Pierce Ferry Road from U.S. 93 to the Park Service boundary. In Kingman, crews will be sweeping roads in the north Kingman, Lazy Y U and Butler areas. Chip sealing is scheduled for Jagerson Avenue from Stockton Hill Road to Marshall Drive, on Marshall Drive and Thompson Avenue. In Golden Valley, crews will repair storm damage at the intersection of Shipp Drive and Emery Park Road.

LAKE HAVASU CITY
Motorists driving along State Route 95 between Parker and Lake Havasu City can expect delays. The Arizona Department of Transportation will be repairing the Bill Williams River Bridge. The roadway will be restricted to one lane for the next six weeks, and the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph. Motorists should expect a 30-minute delay. Hours of construction will be from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to Oct. 31. There will be no construction on weekends. The $700,000 project will repair damage from a July 2006 tanker truck accident. All repairs are expected to be completed by February.

Yard sale starts today
KINGMAN - The Awesome Autumn Yard Sale Fundraiser hosted by the For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue and Sanctuary starts at 8 a.m. today and Saturday at Feathered Friends, 2845 Airway Ave. Proceeds from the sale will be used to care for abandoned, neglected and abused dogs and cats. Zumba session planned
KINGMAN - A new Zumba fitness class led by Kristen Frisch starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kingman Boys & Girls Club, 301 N. First St. The one-hour class meets on Mondays and Thursdays through Oct. 19. The cost for the six sessions is $26. Call (928) 718-0033 for more information.

Coat drive underway
KINGMAN - The Optimist Club of Kingman, Andy's Cleaners and St. Vincent de Paul Society have begun the annual Fall Coat Drive. The drive provides coats to children and adults in need. Coats and jackets will be distributed Thursday at St. Vincent's Thrift Store. For more information, call Rose after 6 p.m. at 753-4306.

EVERYONE GO TO FEATHERED FRIENDS!! HELP MY AUNT CAROL RAISE LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY FOR THE ANIMALS!!! =) THEY'VE GOT A LOT OF REALLY NICE BUT CHEAP STUFF FOR EVERYONE!!
