KINGMAN

A Veterans Day Ceremony will be at 11 a.m. today at the Veterans Memorial in Locomotive Park in downtown Kingman.

There will be guest speakers and a color guard. Seating is limited, so bring your own chairs. For more information, call Jerry at (928) 753-4333.

The Elks will be hosting breakfast for veterans and their spouses beginning at 7 a.m. today at the Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave. For more information, call (928) 753-2547.

There will be a flag-raising ceremony at 9 a.m. at American Legion Post 22, 3435 N. Verde St. in Golden Valley. They will serve free lunches for veterans from noon to 3 p.m. Call (928) 565-4545 for more information.

KINGMAN

The newly founded Mohave County Mustang Club will be hosting its first "all-Mustang" car show at Colorado River Ford located at 3601 Stockton Hill Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The show will be open to all types of Mustangs, but all car buffs are invited to show up and check out the cars.

Cost of registration for the car show is $15 for your first car, $5 for each additional car, and show T-shirts will be available for $20. If Mustang owners join the club the day of the car show at $25 annually, then their entrance fee will be only $10 and the T-shirt will only be $15. For further information, call (928) 757-1291.

KINGMAN

Panda Express will donate 20 percent of all purchases made between noon and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday to the family of Raina Gentry for medical expenses.

Gentry, 16, was injured in a car accident Sept. 29 that killed her friend, 16-year-old Allissa Buchanan. The pair were on their way to swim practice around 4:55 a.m. when the accident occurred.

Gentry suffered a fractured skull in the accident, along with extensive injuries to her elbows and right leg.
