Reward for GV armed robbery clues offered
Clerk who was shot in foot now hospitalized in Vegas

KINGMAN - A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the armed robbery in Golden Valley Wednesday.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding a clerk at gunpoint at the King Mart (King Tut's) convenience store on Route 68 around 1 p.m.

A 19-year-old clerk, Shahbir Singh, was shot in the foot during the incident. He was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and later transported to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.

The suspect is described as a male subject, approximately 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, with a thin build and weighing between 130 to 160 pounds.

He was wearing a ski mask with dark clothing, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect left in a black Ford Ranger pickup truck, which was later found at Hoover Road and Burro Drive where it had been set on fire.

The truck was reported stolen out of Golden Valley on Monday.

Deputies believe the suspect was picked up from the location by a second vehicle.

The incident was the second armed robbery in Golden Valley in the last month. The Sheriff's Office is still searching for a white male who robbed the National Bank of Arizona Oct. 16.

That suspect, who is described as 5-foot-8 with a slender build, left in a grey or silver colored "import type" passenger vehicle with red rims.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call the Mohave County Sheriff's Office at (928) 753-0753 or Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234.
