The Kingman Cancer Care Unit held its 34th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair Saturday and Sunday at the Mohave County Fairgrounds. There were vendors, food and a raffle. The event is a fundraiser for the KCCU, which is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization which provides financial aid to people battling cancer. KCCU helps with various expenses ranging from prescriptions and bills to special food needs and transportation to doctor's offices. They also loan wheelchairs and wigs. The group has spent more than $40,000 this year alone helping people in need. For more information, call Doris at (928) 753-5196. Here, Leila Peden crochets at the booth she shared with her daughter, Sharon Horn, on Saturday. They were selling crochet and knitted items. Peden is visiting from Falls City, Neb.
