I think a majority of people will agree Kingman is a cool place to live, close to Vegas/Laughlin and many other attributes we all can find and share for our own. However, the leadership of this county and Kingman is a total joke! These people are criminals and need to be in handcuffs like many other corrupt Sheriffs have been caught by the FBI and other agencies. Everyone I know is sick of the lies, the political games, and the total lack of care for Kingman in the community from the cops here who are obviously on a self-driven mission to take the lazy way out (MCSO), but you are only what you hang out with. Justice and Liberty is right! Inform everyone, get the word out, inform the citizens of the lies floating all over the scandalous ways of our leaders who think they are above the law, can get away with anything they do, and do not have to listen to those who VOTE them in office. Well, I say, its time for ALL of them to go, because if you ask them what they have really done for us, their answer will be a blank face of unknown speechless nonsense; the truth is they do not have an answer. If anyone just does their homework, looks into official reports and documents, they will find how the corruption cancer has infected Kingman and Mohave County for years. This place could be a thriving town of commerce, possibilities, and pride if the IDIOTS would get the hell out of office and bring people who have honor, integrity, and vision for the future. Drug dealers, Butler, and crime is only because they go unchecked and enforced, which will run its course. Cleaning up the streets is easy, with the right people in command. Whats the other choice...let is stay the way it is? Wake up Kingman and exercise your right to better our County and town by VOTING for anyone other than the FOOLS in office now, whats it gonna hurt to see someone else try and do the job? I think you might be surprised.

I do not know if the MCSO has any connections with the K.K.K, nor do I know if, when and why Timothy McVay has been to Kingman. What I know however is that neither the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office nor the Kingman Police Department have an Internal Affairs Department and with that nobody to look after their doings and conduct. It couldn’t be more convenient, could it. What would be more conductive to an Abuse of Power than having nobody see their operations.

Well..downtowns not so great on the other side of the tracks..Now, it could be great, tho, that takes pride and money. Both Short here in these times.

I'm fortunate to be on the good end of the hood. But, just a couple hundred feet down the road. The nightmare, as bad, as any Ive seen starts.

Crimes a big problem here too. But thats not my motive to move. I just cant afford to live here on SSD anymore.

I could move to butler or birdland. thats the only other choice I have.

Im a target being disabled so this leaves only one choice. Move away.

I got taxed out...like many will be soon.

“They” do whatever they want because we let the citizens let them. More people need to rise up, tell their stories, let others know. As Concerned Veteran has already correctly stated: The citizens deserve better! Better leadership, better streets, better communities. VOTE someone else as Sheriff next election and get rid of all the dirty cops and lazy politics in force this town is suffering from!”

Voting is a great way to rid this town of their corrupt official, which not only include the Sheriff. Before we can go to the Voting Booth, there is still much work left to be done. We need to inform the other citizen to come out and put an end to this. People need to be informed.

Those who had enough of the injustice and corruption in this town must organize. Forming a citizens group or organization with the purpose of exposing and contesting the corruption and abuse of power in Kingman and Mohave County and spread the word. File charges against the corrupt officials. Speak up and find others who come finally out because they were afraid of coming out on their own.

There are many more citizens who are just waiting to chime in and volunteer their time so all citizens can feel safe and secure in Mohave County. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to organize at this point of time, but I will certainly be a part of any group or organization that makes a serious effort to bring upon change in our Justice System and Law Enforcement.

I think the commentaries here at the Kingman Daily Miner are a great venue to spread the word and find others who are fed up. But this is not enough. Start new local Message Boards and Forums. Publish a Newsletter. Give out flyers. Get some news article published. Get some media time. There are many ways to spread the word until the next elections. You are not sure who to vote for or not. Vote out the incumbents, or listen to those who are organizing the resistance to our corruption.

There are many ways to help and get started. Let’s do it, and those who are now abusing their power will no longer be able to do whatever they want as freely as they do now. Organize and resist, demonstrate; peacefully the democratic way.

In the defence to 'some' of us who bought property in the Butler, Birdland area... Not everyone here are criminals. I bought my home here because it was a solid 'stick built' home. (Not a mobile or fabricated house), that had nearly every attribute that I was looking for in a home. I was new to the Kingman area, so I was not aware of the crime issues in the Butler area where my home sits.

I was told that birdland was meth & theft central though. Yet even there I know people who have homes that are nicely kept, & they are good law abiding citizens. There was a ring of meth dealers, & stolen goods fencers around my block, but most have sinced moved away as my near neighbors & I rallied with law enforcement to become enough of a problem for them that 'most' all of them moved. Those that did not get rounded up in Operation Picture Perfect, or just plain 'ol get busted that is.

I have had the blessing to have been able to live in towns in a few other states over the years. So far this town has the worst sick & twisted crimes going on in it that I have ever known.

I have said it time and time again, The Idiots that run the Kingman/Mohave County are nothing short of the Mafia! Yes that does include Police, Detectives, Prosectors, Judges, Mayors, city councilmen, Etc. And the sad thing is I really think the are Proud of it!!!! Another sad day in our Great Country!
