A Kingman man was arrested for drunken driving after leading police on a slow-speed chase Monday afternoon after the Kingman Police Department received a report of an SUV being driven on a flat tire. A police officer tried to pull the vehicle over in the area of Fairgrounds Boulevard, but the man continued driving until his tire was shredded. He eventually came to a stop on Detroit Avenue just east of Stockton Hill Road. The man, who works the graveyard shift, was allegedly drunk and under the influence of sleeping pills.

There is no JUSTIFICATION for drinking, driving, and taking pills. It clearly states on the bottle of sleeping pills, DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Luckily nobody was injured. The police were doing there duty. Typical Kingman mentally to think this was alright.

To fun in the city.:

I was getting my son out of his crib when this "slow speed" chase went flying by my son's window. This guy could've came right through our walls, so I'm glad they caught him. Driving under the influence is just plain dangerous and there is no justification for it.

comments would have been different if the driver had wrecked and killed someone.

Whats the world comin to?

A hard working guy cant have a few beers, a handful of pills, an hit the road?

Almost made it to the LaundroLounge. He could have had a few beers, washed his sheets and waited for the swat team to show up.

Must be a SLOW day at the Miner.
