PARKER

Due to weather and temperature conditions, an $88,500 chip/seal project at the Rock House Visitor Center and Boat Ramp at the Parker Strip will be delayed until early spring.

All facilities will remain open and will not be closed today through Thursday as previously announced.

The facility is located on the California side of the Colorado River, along the Parker Dam Road National Back Country Byway. The project was funded by stimulus dollars.

The Bureau of Land Management will notify the public when the project is rescheduled.
