Tennis clinics start Tuesday
KINGMAN - Fall tennis lessons are being offered by the city of Kingman Parks & Recreation Department with two sessions and three age/skill levels available.
Session 1 will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Tuesday through Oct. 1, and Session 2 follows on Oct. 13-29. The age levels are 6-10 years old, 11-14 and 15 and up. The skill levels are beginners, intermediates and advanced.

Trap shooting camp Saturday
KINGMAN - The Mohave Sportsman Club will hold a trap shooting camp funded by Arizona Game & Fish Department at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Seven-Mile Hill Range located at 3155 Oatman Highway.
The camp will consist of a safety course, introductions and fundamentals of trap shooting and hands-on shooting led by NRA certified shotgun instructors.
Mohave Sportsman Club is looking for first-time shooters who want to learn how to shoot a shotgun. The camp is free to the first 25, and breakfast and lunch will be served. Call Tony Keller at (928) 279-8919 for more information.
Adult kickball league forming
KINGMAN - Kickball is not just for kids anymore, and the city of Kingman Parks & Recreation Department is forming a new Adult Coed Kickball League. The league starts Sept. 27 at Centennial Park.
Teams can register through Sept. 23 or until eight teams have signed on. The team fee is $75 plus $10 per player, which includes an eight-game season, umpire, individual awards for first place and team awards for first through third.
