The trials of two men accused of murdering 28-year-old Kingman resident Albert Orozco and leaving him in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Beverly Avenue in July 2011 have been scheduled for April.
John Langan, 32, and Russell Shields, 41, are charged with first-degree murder, evidence tampering, hindering prosecution, misconduct involving a weapon and abandonment/concealment of a dead body, according to court records.
Orozco was found dead from a single gunshot wound in a relative's car on July 18, 2011.
Shields' jury trial is set for April 9, with a final case management conference scheduled for March 20. Langan's trial begins April 16, with a final case management conference scheduled for April 1.
It took police about a month from the day the body was found to arrest Langan and Shields.
Investigators believe Orozco was killed during a dispute with the two men in the 3200 block of Apache Street.
