Carts, KART top agenda for Council
2/5/2013 6:00:00 AM
Golfers will likely have to make do with the existing cart fleet at Cerbat Cliffs Municipal Gold Course, at least for now.
Staff at tonight's City Council meeting will recommend that Council members reject all proposals for new golf carts since every bid submitted was over the budgeted amounts.
Also on tonight's agenda is the possible implementation of daily and monthly bus pass options.
Currently, there are no discounts available to riders who use the Kingman Area Regional Transit system. Last month the Transit Advisory Commission approved adding new options and forwarded the proposal to the Council, including discounted costs for daily and monthly passes.
Also, staff will recommend that the City Council approve the purchase of property on Kachina Avenue for drainage purposes. The $9,500 purchase price does not include escrow fees.
Tonight's meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 310 N. 4th Street.
