Public comments may return to P&Z

KINGMAN - A change up in the makeup of the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission could mean a return of the call to the public to the commission's agenda.
The commission removed the call to the public from its agenda in 2009. It has debated bringing back the agenda item since March 2012.
At that time, the commission didn't seem to favor bringing it back and a decision on the matter was tabled until the new commission could be seated in January. However, the addition of four new people to the commission may change things.
District 3. Former commissioner Jack Pozenel will also return to the commission.
He resigned from the commission last year in order to run for the District 4 supervisor's seat.
The commission will also consider updating its bylaws due to take into account two new districts.
The commission meets at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St.
