GOLDEN VALLEY - On Saturday, Gianluca Zanna of Golden Valley will engage in a non-stop, 36-mile march from Kingman to Bullhead City to spread what he believes are two very important messages: Do not re-elect State Rep. Nancy McLain, and stop the North American Union.
Zanna, a registered Republican and Mohave County Minutemen spokesman, also is chairman of the political committee Republicans Against Nancy McLain.
He will start his 36-mile walk at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday at the County Administrative Building on Andy Devine Avenue in Kingman.
His route will take him through Golden Valley and end at the Bullhead City/Laughlin bridge. He expects to arrive on Saturday evening.
He will be armed with a video camera to document the event and 1,000 flyers to hand out along the way in hopes of exposing "the fake conservative voting records of state Rep. Nancy McLain and her recent vote in favor of the North American Union."
Zanna said McLain should not be re-elected because she sponsored the Arizona Temporary Worker Program, "a backdoor attempt to continue hiring foreign workers instead of U.S. workers; twice voted against legislation that would stop the North American Union; twice voted against a Senate bill that would make trespassing a felony for illegal aliens; did not vote for a bill that requires employers to verify the immigration status of their employees through the Basic Employment Verification Pilot Program; voted in favor of a bill that establishes an annual registration process and more regulations for off-highway vehicles, such as four-wheelers and ATVs, and gives unspecified powers to Fish and Game to arrest citizens; and repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on issues through the 2006 National Political Awareness Test, even when asked to do so.
Zanna said McLain's grade, according to the Goldwater Institute 2007, was "a pathetic" D-plus, and based on a point system, with points assigned for actions in support of or in opposition to Arizona Federation of Taxpayers' position, McLain received a "very mediocre rating of just 56 points for the year 2006."
"Everybody is invited to join the march anywhere along the route, even for a few yards," Zanna said.

"Concerned citizens, please help me to spread the word."

I am back, a little beat up, but feeling good, at least in the spirit.I am attaching the link of some photos and the video of the 36 miles march from Kingman to Bullhead that I have completed yesterday, August the second 2008.
The purpose of this march was to bring attention and to protest against the coming North American Union and the voting records of state rep. Nancy McLain.
I left Kingman from the County Building at 5.00 am August 2nd 2008 along with other concerned citizens. Some they had to stop later on on the way, while others they joined us in Golden Valley and along the journey. I was the only one to finish the whole march. I must admit it, I never done this type of things, especially in this type of desert enviroment. It was over 105 degree for most of the day with peak 110 degree close to Bullhead. We had a little break with clouds early morning around Golden Valley, but after 1030 am, you could feel the power of the Arizona sun.
In Golden Valley we have stopped at the VFW and at the Outpost gas station where we have dropped some flyers about the NAU and Nancy Mclain voting records. At the Maverick gas station on the 68, while we were drinking water on the border of the sidewalk, the Maverick manager came out and told us that we had to remove our sign attached to our backpack, otherwise we had to leave their property.Politely, I said, that I was going to leave. It was not our intention to argue ot to stay on maverick property if these were the rules. We were just drinking water and some of us were purchasing (unfortunately they already did)... I respect private property, but I also decided that Maverick is never going to get another Dollar from me. I wonder if they do not allow your car with a controversial bumpersticker while you fill gas at their station (sarcastic).
The night before the event I could not sleep more than 1 hour. I fell asleep about 2 am and woke up about 3.30. I was a little worried about that, but during the journey I felt fresh and rested... it was like not me. Call it adrenaline, faith or just commitment... maybe a mix of all 3, but my body did not feel pain for the lack of sleep. I just kept going and trying to memorize in my brain these unique moments of freedom that I was living in this Country and especially in the great State of Arizona (don't try to walk in California or New York with a glock open carry on the highway).
We had a very pleasant encounter with a deputy from the Highway Patrol. He stopped his car just to check if were doing all right. He was respectul, friendly, he did not ask for our ID and he did not even was bothered because I was open carry. This is what I call a real peace officer that follow the Constitution and I am proud to support with my life.
Coming close to Bullhead the last 5 miles were brutal and I started to have cramps and blisters under my feet. At this point, I guess we had around 110 degree at least. All I know, that my plastic canteen was hot, and so it was my water, that it was almost too hot to drink. But thanks to the support of friends, my wife and other volunteers, and a lot of faith, I was able to finish my task. I prayed my rosary the last few miles... and it really helped me. Thank you Lord.
Finally I arrived in Bullhead in front of the Laughin Bridge at 7.00 pm with my great buddy Greg Nicholson. 61 years old ex vietnam vet that had joined me in Golden Valley. He was great... he did almost 25 miles or so with me...We had a lot of honks of support during the whole journey on the highway and also one person in Bullhead that give us the middle finger. Maybe he did not like my desert camo outfit or my glock, or maybe my haircut but who cares.
I want to stress that this event is not about me, but about the coming North American Union and the voting records of state rep. Nancy McLain and every other local, state or federal politician that will vote against our Constitution and sovreignty. This is just the beginning. American People are tired and mad... We will not tolerate any more the sell out of our Country and Sovreignty.I hope you can spread this message to your friends and media, just write a letter to the editor, just inform yourself and others about the North American Union, and especially if you were with me, and share your feelings.
I want to thanks everybody that came along the march... but especially 2 wonderful ladies from Kingman that have joined me since the begininning of of it: Lori Warren that she had to stop before the end of Golden Valley (I later found out that Lori she has only half kidney and other health problem). And Margie Hamilton, that she had to stop for cramps just 5 miles before the end. She has just turned 50 years old today. Incredible women, the same women that were fighting with their men during Revolution.
I am so proud of them and all the other citizens that have joined me and supported me in this physical and spiritual challenge. I hope to do not forget anybody... Margie Hamilton, Lori Warren, Randy and Diane Coen, Tony Westover, Bill from the USPS, Kenny and Janna Imthurn, Little dog and TJ that came all the way from California, Richard Sugden that came from Lake Havasu, Don and Debbie from Kingman, Bob Fhruling, Mike Roundy, Dean Jacobs, Dean and Marlene Trivandian... and especially God for giving me the opportunity to live my second part of my life in America with my wife that she supports me and stand with me in this struggle for our Country.

To Billy W.: Free trade should never have precedence over the Rule Of Law. When it does, you will have a mafia type black market economy. Chaos. Companies should ALL be required to follow the same market rules. If you are hiring illegals, you are cheating other companies who ARE following the law.

I'll be right there with you Luca, all the way. If we don't take a stand now, there's no telling what the future will hold for us.

In response to Rep. McLain: How else is anyone supposed to interpret your voting record which favors foreign workers and opposes US sovereignty? To routinely vote "No" on HCM's is nevertheless taking a stand on those issues--whether you perceive your votes to be protests against the meaninglessness of the process or not, they are still deliberate choices. Are we then to infer that by sponsoring HCM 2012, or by considering changing your vote to "Yes" on HCM 2003, that you were somehow not "wasting your time" as much as if you were voting "No"? Is this what your votes mean? Any rational person would see these votes as simple "yeas" or "nays" on the relative merits or demerits of the issues alone--not a statement on the voting process itself. A more suitable method of showing your disdain of the entire process, I would think, would be to either not be present for the voting--or to abstain from the voting--on these HCM's. Otherwise, your votes DO mean something--even if you say they are a "waste of time"--and cannot be interpreted by your arbitrarily capricious standard of time well spent.

Let me guess Billy W. You either own a company who hires workers illegally so you can pay them under the table, or you are an illegal yourself. Either that or you're just an utterly un-American globalist who stands to gain monetarily at the selling out of your country and our children’s future. Nice try but it isn’t going to happen.

I disagree w/ Billy W. We have a hard enough time finding jobs, in our own country and county... We need to stop hiring illegals to do the work, they may be hard working but many of YOUR OWN COUNTRYMEN are starving and on the verge of becoming homeless. Take care of Americans before you worry about others!

Until we have full employment we do not need to have out side workers come into our country and never illegally. The key here is illigally. We are a Republic built on law. The very thought of allowing hundreds, thousands...millionss? of people into the country that do not honor the law is at best unwise possibly disasterous.
The North American Union is an insult to all three countries. It has never been necessary to disolve countries to have trade. The world has always had the opportunity to trade. Get some history books... true you may have to get some older history books before the rewrite.

Because our population has become apathetic, it's difficult to inspire them to action. I applaud Luca Zanna for his zeal. I hope he makes a loud enough noise to awaken the entire country.

In reply to Billy W.'s comment, let me quote from Patrick J. Buchanan: "Our industrial base is shrinking and Middle America's standard of living is no longer rising, because we forgot how America became a mighty industrial power and we embraced the myth that it was free trade that made us great. To challenge this myth--now an article of faith in both parties--is to be treated as imbecilic or immoral. Yet, the lie must be exposed, for more is being sacrificed on the altar of this Moloch than the jobs of our workers and the standard of living of our people. Our politics are being corrupted, our dependency on unstable foreign regimes is growing, and our survival as a self-reliant and independent republic is at risk." -from The Great Betrayal: How American Sovereignty and Social Justice Are Being Sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy.

Mr. Zanna and many other militia members are misinformed. Free Trade...namely Global Trade is the Future. We need cheap labor and Mohave County could do with hard workers from Mexico or Latin America for many service jobs! We need an active Guest Worker Program in the USA!

To Rep. Nancy McLain:
Well all that you say is not true.
AZ State Rep. Nancy McLain sponsored the HCM 2012 Arizona Temporary Worker Program. This is a back door attempt to continue hiring foreign workers instead of U.S. workers. American People have already lost their wages and their jobs because of the illegal aliens invasion. We don't need more low skill workers to destroy what is left.
And again, if you are going to vote for something, whether it is a 'waste of time' or not, since you ARE 'taking the time' to vote, WHY NOT VOTE THE RIGHT WAY, THE WAY FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?
You yourself admitted that:
"I seriously considered changing my vote if the bill comes up for reconsideration. In fact, I told several people that I would do so. However, because of some of the outrageous, false, and vitriolic emails I received, I will be voting "no" once again. I have always said that I appreciate receiving comments on any matter from my constituents, but I will not be intimidated by abusive, counterproductive tactics."
Not very mature for someone serving the public.
As for you being 'anything but soft on this issue', you are rated D+ by the Goldwater Institute, here is an example:
Nancy McLain voted NO TWICE against SB1157 which would make trespassing a felony for Illegal Aliens!
Just give it up, Mrs. McLain.
