KINGMAN - A Golden Valley man battled against blisters and muscle cramps in order to walk 36 miles from Kingman to Bullhead City in protest of Arizona Rep. Nancy McLain's voting record.
Lucca Zanna, a spokesman for the Mohave County Minutemen, left the County Administration Building in Kingman around 5 a.m. on Aug. 2 and arrived in front of the bridge in Bullhead City around 7 p.m.
He had company along the way; a few concerned citizens joined him at various points along his march.
One supporter walked despite having health problems. Another was a 61-year-old Vietnam War veteran who walked the last 25 miles with Zanna. However, Zanna was the only one to complete the long walk from Kingman to Bullhead.
Despite a lack of sleep the night before, Zanna said in an e-mail to the Kingman Daily Miner that he "felt fresh and rested ... it was not like me. Call it adrenaline, faith or just commitment ... maybe a mix of all three."
The hardest part of the march was the heat.
"After 10:30 a.m., you could feel the power of the Arizona sun," he said.
The water in his canteen almost became too hot to drink. The last five miles into Bullhead he started getting muscle cramps and blisters, but he managed to finish his walk.
Zanna said he had a lot of honks of support along the way and only one hand gesture. He also ran into an officer from the Arizona Department of Public Safety who stopped to see if Zanna was all right.
"I want to stress that this event is not about me but about the coming North American Union and the voting records of state Rep. Nancy McLain and every other local, state or federal politician that will vote against our Constitution and sovereignty," he said.

@ Everybody here that is against Lucca --
Regardless of what this guy stands for, the fact that he would walk 36 miles for something he believes in is remarkable.
Is there anyone posting here that has walked that far for a cause? Any cause?
I haven't.
You have my respect, Lucca.

For Mr. Ron Murphy: Where do you people get your information? I do not have "family members in the real estate business." I come from a very small family, and none of the few family members I have left are in real estate, nor do they live in Arizona or anywhere else near the Canamex corridor.
The implication that I would somehow benefit financialy from this program is untrue and unfounded, as is much of the rhetoric aimed at me.

I fully expected the hatemonges, racists, bigots to go ballistic at my comments, I will rest my case with Jesus on judgment day, if I am wrong, or have ignored Jesus teachings in anyway, I will know then, but I do not think nor will I ever believe, Jesus would walk with the minute men, klansmen, skin head nazi's, and other assorted hatemongers, racists, bigots whom talk a good game on what Jesus would do, or not do, I think the bible says it plain enough for me, he was despised, hated by the leadership of his time, both in government, religious authority for his preachings and teachings, I quoted the passage on ignoring the poor, hungry, naked those sick and in prison, one can interpet it anyway you wish, and as to giving to Caesar what is Caesars and unto Gods what is Gods, I find the argument and interpetation of suggesting one should advocate for a pagan godless roman whom thought he was god, and demanded he be worshiped as such, a real good attempt to twist this bible message, I give my soul to god, and I am a law abiding citizen, do not violate any laws, but I do not have to advocate with the minute men, klansmen, skin head nazi's, and other assorted groups whom seem to think they have the corner on patriotism, religion, etc, I stand my comments if Jesus were here today, he would be on our southern border giving water, food, comfort and preaching to those hispanics fleeing poverty, and he would without a doubt be "reported by the minute men for aiding and abetting felons" and they would demand his arrest and imprisonment, and it would only qualify as a modern day crucifixtion of Jesus! One good thing is not me, nor anyone commenting on this issue will decide whom enters heaven or not, thank god mankind has never qualified for that task! Jesus will either know you, or not, some will be in awe and shock as the bible says, since they see no evil, wrong in themselves, but can see the splinter in their brothers eye, but are oblivious to the log in their own! I am glad the racists, bigots do not like my views, the more venom and vile they spew at me, only proves how evil they are! As a passing note, no one can make anyone a racist, bigot, hatemonger, one makes themselves what they are! I do not hate the racist, bigot, hatemonger, only pity them as I pity the hispanic fleeing poverty, being called a "tree hugger", "bleeding heart liberal", is ok with me, I am quite sure Jesus was villified in his time for preaching his message, and one can twist anything one wishes but his message was clear, he did not make any exceptions for ignoring his warning to not ignore the poor, hungry, naked those sick and in prison!

Who gives a crap if someone walks 36 miles to bring awareness to a good cause? A lot of us do. And let me try to spell something out for you. Individuals, like you, like me, like Mr. Zanna, we are supposed to 'give a crap' about what is happening to this country. We are supposed to care about our slipping sovereignty and do what we can to expose the un-American voting records of representatives that do not reflect the well-being of their constitituents, this country and 'our' community. If you don't give a crap about fighting the death of America via this catastrophic North American Union and don't see any need to somehow try to stop the flooding of illegals into this country that is quickly turning into a third world nation, (and getting no help from State Rep. Nancy McLain), then I guess if you had been around a couple hundred years ago you probably wouldn't have given a crap about some guy who road through a meaningless small town at midnight warning that the British were coming.
I guess that wouldn't have qualified as a powerful statement either, although amusing, huh?
It's lazy, judgmental, uniformed people like you that make 36 miles walks like this one more important than ever.
By the way, what powerful statement have you made lately? Any admirable contributions to this country or community?
Just what I thought.

Christian,
Please don't drag Christ's name through the mud (Hollywood and the Media do that enough).
Your take on illegal immigration does nothing but demondtrate how ignorant you are of Biblical history.
Throughout history, it is seen clearly in the Bible that God not only allowed for sovereignty of nations, but commanded Israel to adhere to it. Try Genesis 11 where Nimrod tried to set up the world's first One-World government. It doesn't end too well. Look at Acts 17:26-27, God clearly sets aside sovereign Nation-states, a deliberately chosen device to serve His purposes. It ultimately serves the purpose of restraining satan's kingdom on earth. And although we Christians understand that a One-World government is inevitable, it doesn't mean we shouldn't fight it or lay down and allow it to happen.
We Minutemen are not "hiding" behind patriotism. The fact that is apparently lost on you is that one of our founders is in fact of Mexican heritage. I guess you also don't want to be bothered with the fact that imprisoned Border Patrol agents Ramos & Compean are also of that particular ethnic background.
The rude awakening won't come in the way YOU think, pal. It'll come when in 15-20 years the landscape of America will be forever changed and we will become a third world country. Impoverished, immoral and imprisoned thanks to our willingness to allow vagrant foreign invaders to systematically and incrementally destroy us from the inside out.
All in the name of political correctness and a "multi-cultural" mental illness.
How sad.

The Apostle Luke wrote, "Dear Theophilus: In my first book I told you about everything Jesus began to do and teach...." [Acts 1:1 NLT]. Jesus was primarily a doer, and then secondarily a teacher. His acts usually preceded his teachings--not the other way around. He led his disciples by example, first by doing many miracles among the multitudes, and then by taking his disciples aside privately to explain what he had just done. Jesus himself said, "If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them." [John 13:17 ESV]. Again, a priority of physical action over mere mental assent is advocated here.
Without getting carried away in my comparisons, I witnessed the same sort of leadership in action by the 36-Mile March of Luca Zanna with a few of his cohorts last Saturday. It was both an honor and privilege for me to be among those few who walked alongside of him for at least a portion of that march. In our country today there are many who have mostly talked the talk (whether in politics or religion), but few who have actually walked the walk. We WALKED that day--and, as a result, I was even more proud than before to be counted among that infamous ragtag band known as the Mohave County Minutemen.
I hope our message was both seen and heard as a result of this march/walk, by those for whom it was intended. It was not meant to be an exercise in self-flagellation, for which any one of us should receive fame or notoriety--heaven forbid! It was meant to drive home some key points about which we felt passionately. We wanted to raise public awareness about the evils of the CANAMEX/NAU/NAFTA/SPP project in our county--namely the US 93 Superhighway Corridor--and the AZ state representative we felt has been most complicit in its implementation (as well as in other assaults on U.S. sovereignty)--namely Nancy McLain.
Rep. Nancy McLain has been one of those who has talked the talk about curbing illegal immigration and other encroachments on U.S. sovereignty, but her actions have belied her words--both in her voting record itself, and by her condescending remarks toward her constituency on these issues. In fact, she has shown a general contempt for the legislative process in general--calling it a "waste of time"--except, of course, when voting for bills she sponsored, such as HCM 2012.
It was a good day last Saturday to make our message known; it seemed as if God himself had favored us and smiled from heaven upon our humble effort. I care not what others, unamenable to our cause, may say or think about us (or our tactics); I believe we Minutemen were given a divine commission, and that march was one of our finest moments in fulfilling it. To borrow a truckers' euphemism, truly the "rubber met the road" that day--and all Mohave County could rejoice in having Luca Zanna as a great activist patriot among its citizenry who led by example in a cause that was (and is) just and right.

The American people must stop complaining about the illegal alien pestilence and actually do something about it????
We know this will be a major issue, in the coming November general election. There is a good chance hundreds of thousands of illegal foreign nationals will violate the law and vote. Democrats have thwarted any chance of voting officers, requiring a governmental picture ID from participants. Each day citizens are slain on the roads of America, by drunk illegal drivers. Then we have the street gangs protected by 'Sanctuary cities' like Los Angeles. The unsuppressed news reports will tell you about the child pedophiles, female assaults, murders, robbers and Social security theft. Biased national newspapers do not reveal the truth of the daily slaughter on our roads.
Our government secretly skims from your payroll checks, 356 billion dollars annually to support the illegal immigration occupation of our nation. Unfortunately this is not all, because this doesn't take into account expenditure on education, health care or our overcrowded prison system. Nor does it count for each state, county, city welfare programs.
It is all encompassing your Jobs and economic growth, energy independence, health care access, education and an overcrowded prison system. All these issues are impacted by the 12 to 30 million illegal immigration invasion. Remember the new President will enact a massive AMNESTY, then that promotes an open-door for millions more to come; compliments of the Globalists who want the free movement of cheap labor throughout the North American Continent.
Illegal immigration has depressed wages, because predatory employers are hiring illegal cheap labor and ignoring citizens and legal residents. Both McCain and Obama just don't get it, that 80 percent of the American people are furious with supporting the 12 to 30 million illegal aliens who have invaded this sovereign country. The cost is astronomical according to (eagleforum.) Read unsuppressed facts at NUMBERSUSA. CAPSWEB We have only one chance of stopping OVERPOPULATION within 20 years?

"Tree hugging" Christians like Christian are a detriment to this country. They would throw open the borders for anyone who wants to come into our country. Christian fails to understand that if this were the Socialist country that he desires, then he would not have the freedom to say what he has.
I think Mr. Zanna has done a great thing and it has brought attention, not only to Nancy McLain's voting record, but also to what our government is trying to force our country into.
And, Christian, aren't you supposed to not judge, lest ye be judged? You have judged the Minutemen and Mr. Zanna without even meeting him/them.

Christian, you are utterly mistaken. Mr. Zanna has explained himself many times. He was an immigrant from Italy, a nation which he says is losing all freedom due to Socialism. He loves this nation and doesn't want to see it happen here. It is misguided people like you, who wil lead this nation into one world government and centralized slavery. No middle class, no Constitution, no individual rights. You don't get it at all.

Dear "Christian",
As a "former southerner, white male, well aquainted with racists, bigots, have two uncles die hard klu klux klansmen"... by the way you spew venom and untruths, your past is very obvious and you sound permanently damaged.
You comparing the Minutemen to Klansmen shows how Klueless you are.... then you pass judgement on people that you don't even know, continue to write nothing but a pack of lies...all this shows is what a hypocrite you are, the furthest thing from a real christian.
Citizens that are trying to protect our borders, protect our Bill of Rights and Constitution, protect our sovereignty and salvage this nation.... that my 'christian' friend, is heroic and admirable.
If you tried to prove something with this disconnected rant, you did...it's crystal clear that there is an ugly agenda lurking beneath your feeble attempt at this phony bible tirade.

@Christian --
In Matthew 22:21, Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.”
There are different interpretations of this passage, but the most common is that while we abide by God's laws, we are expected to abide by the laws of society as well. The obedient Christian understands, of course, that when there is a conflict between what society asks us to do, and what God asks, we always stand with God, even at the risk of arrest.
Too often, people yell "racist!" at those who would push for stronger borders, immigration control, etc. Sometimes people who want those things are racist, but not always. Some of us simply want the rule of law enforced, because to have a law applied equally to all people is the essence of justice.
I consider myself a compassionate person. I would like to see anybody who wishes to come to America, come to America. But I believe that ought to be done according to the laws America has established regarding immigration. And I believe that once here, immigrants ought to become Americans, in the spirit of Teddy Roosevelt's oft-quoted statement:
"We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.
But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people."
Be careful, Christian, when you call a man a racist without knowing him. And be careful about telling readers of this paper what God will and will not do.
Why not talk to Lucca? See what he has to say person to person. And perhaps pray that God touches your mind and heart, and gives you clarity of His will in all of this.
Proverbs 27:17 -- As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

I am a former southerner, white male, well aquainted with racists, bigots, have two uncles die hard klu klux klansmen, their motto was "states rights" anti-segregation, jim crow laws to limit blacks voting rights, I rejected their hatered, racism, bigotry, only difference between a klansmen and a minute man is their motto, border security, fake patriotism, and the color of the skin of those they love to hate, persecute, as a christian I asked myself would Jesus walk with this zealot minute man, whom seems to have more time on his hands than someone should, to perpetrate hatemongering, racism, disquised as patriotism, as a ex-marine, vietnam era, I take no pride in anyone using patriotism to hide their racism, and use it to persecute anyone, the bible tells us, ignore the poor, hungry, naked those sick and in prison and one will not be known by Jesus on judgment day, am quite sure the atheists, blind biblical goats {minute men, klansmen, nazi skin heads and other assorted nut cases}, could care less about this bible passage, but thats why on judgment day, they will finally get what they so much desire, to spend all eternity in that lake of fire, arguing how patriotic, righteous they were to have led the life they did! Any real christian knows if Jesus were here today, he would as in his time minister to the poor, naked, hungry, sick, those sick of mind/soul in prison, the sinners, harlots, thieves, etc, and as in that day, the righteous pharisee's of that day whom their counter parts today are the right wing zealots whom hide behind religion, patriotism would crucify him for aiding and abetting felons fleeing poverty, how ironic these individuals rate such honor, respect in life, and on earth, but I venture the after life will be a rude awakening and a awe and shock for many!

During my 60 years of living, I have stayed far from the political machines and their mercenaries.
In 1995, I started a self help drug and alcohol program in Phoenix. I financed and worked without government help for almost 10 years. I was up to more than 50 beds, when I stopped.
I decided to start a family, I married and had a son. In 2005 I sold what I owned three small apartment buildings. I moved to Golden Valley and found myself being stalked by the IRS.
I fired my enrolled agent and accountant and tried to find the law after 1943 when Teddy Roosevelt filed his taxes and paid nothing on his rental property and said I owed more. I presented my case before a hearing and settled the account for less than $600.00.
You have to know that people in the government know how projects can benefit from their laws.
The North American Union is big business and there will be tens of millions dolled out to the politicians at the top and if the little politicians want to be going to the top they will obey the political machines.
Nancy McLain has family members in the real-estate business, so she should have known how the two mile wide corridor through Mohave County will have ways for individuals to make money by either buying land, controlling the laws affecting eminent domain, and hundreds of other valuable information that could be of value to selfish politicians or they could give the information out to the public.
I do not know if McLain uses or unknowingly passes information but I know she should know about this projected precursor for the North American Union. The Corridor is called "The Canamex Corridor." Broken down as Canada, USA and Mexican Corridor. All countries being in North America; and as a Union to bring political and commercial cooperation combining all three countries.
What in the word "Canamex" couldn't a reasonable person understand?
Governor Napolitano understands and has issued Executive Order Number 2008-08 recently. It compliments her Executive order 2001-05 welcoming the project with open arms and her full cooperation.
"I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts." (Will Rogers)
