Voters have mailed back over 2,000 early ballots

Suzanne Adams-Ockrassa

The Mohave County Voter Registration Division already has a stack of early ballots waiting to be opened and counted on Tuesday.

The division mailed out 3,500 ballots and has already received 2,100 back, said Kim Stewart, the county's voter registration supervisor. The division also has 5,300 ballots from the county's three early voting locations.

Early voting ended Friday, but it's not too late to get that early ballot in, she said. Voters with early ballots can drop them off at the County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St. or at any polling place.

"Just as long as we get it before 7 p.m. on Tuesday and postmarks don't count," Stewart said.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday for all of those voters who didn't cast a ballot early. To find your polling place go to www.azsos.gov and make sure to bring your photo ID.

If you've moved recently you may want to contact the Voter Registration Division directly for your new polling place at (928) 753-0767. You may be handed a provisional ballot if you've moved.

I mailed my early voting ballot from overseas, is there a way I can find out if my ballot was counted for this election? Just wondering if I am among the 2100 returned...
