It appears the County Board of Supervisors is afraid of the people they represent. They should be, as they are not representing the people, they are dictating to the people. Worse yet, their dictates go against the will of the people; those very same people who put them in office. Sounds like they think they are the president and the Congress!
They have now seen fit to prohibit guns carried legally by their constituents. Supervisor Gary Watson wanted to know why anyone in their right mind would be carrying a gun anyway, yet Supervisor Buster Johnson carries a gun to the meetings. The BOS should be afraid of the people not because they carry guns or pitchforks but because the people still have the right to vote them out of office. Ron Walker said, "Anyone who does not respect the Board or the chair or who has been asked to stop on a certain subject and does not do so will be asked to sit down or asked to leave." How can you respect this group of elitist politicians who think they are above "the people"?
It's alright for the BOS to go against the U.S. and Arizona constitutions that they swore to uphold, but it is not alright for the people who pay their salaries to have the right to tell them when they are doing wrong? The BOS said they think we "the people" should be ashamed of ourselves. Supervisor Watson wanted to know where common sense and respectability was. Well, the BOS sure does not have an ounce of common sense. And respect is earned; it's not their right.
It is the BOS, and their pit bull, Ron Walker, who should be ashamed. They are right to be afraid of the people of this county, not because of weapons, but because we are going to vote or recall each and everyone of them out of office.

To the .9% tea partiers, cyber trolls, I refuse to pay to your toll to cross this Daily Miner bridge, if your lonely for a conversation, debate, try joining a lonely hearts club, or visit your favorite bar and garner a argument, debate with someone who cares what you think!:-) I am not worried about the .9% looney tunes in this old world, since I do not attend rallies, town hall meetings, and unless you break down my front door, will not likely ever meet you folks, but if by some odd chance one of the .9% looney tunes like the fellow down in Tucson, AZ, jail awaiting trial who was arrested recently in Meadview, a minute man/aryan nations member who moonlighted as a robber, murderer, home invasion specilist, then I got some double odd buck which tends to deter that .9% looney tunes who think only they have guns, only they know how to defend themselves, only difference between them and I is I am in a defensive position not a offensive one, and any good military tactician can tell you it takes 5 to one to defeat a defensive position versus the offensive! Keep on thinking us democrats are afraid of you, and that none of us ever served our country, or believe in the 2nd amendment, guess shock and awe is something one can discover if they wish too!

Why dont we just cuff every citizen and tie them to trees because you walk around in fear of .9% of the people that 'might' do something?
Maybe we should keep all males out of County buildings because having male genitals naturally makes them all violent rapists.

During my 30 years as a nurse, mostly with elderly, I found it sad to see them vote in law after law , thinking they were increasing there protection. To a point of near police state at times I found myself in conversations trying to explain u dont have to give up ur rights for protection. It is not a matter of trade off . When we have elected the proper people, who care about our constitutional rights. We are protected, WE SHOULD BE Mr WALKER AND Mr SOCKWELL,( IF JOBS ARE BEING DONE.)

Tea Party not part of the GOP? I beg to differ since its been Fox & Friends nework doing the cheer leading for the tea partiers and everyone knows Fox & Friends is merely the propaganda wing of the republican party, run by that old Benedict Arnold "torrie" from the United Kingdom! Its amusing to listen/read the denials of the tea party that they are both parties but they network with the right wing of the GOP.....are financed by them in the background, and either they are to senile to know it or pure and simple liars to boot! I really could care less what you call yourselves, the old bible mentions how to identify a false prophet by what proceeds from their mouths, and I guess one can identify a right wing nut by what the preach too! They are our for fathers blood rising up in those who listen to the voices of history deep inside of them selves repeating. Trying quietly to point out the Truth and faith in that which is reasonable for all mankind. Tea Party people are not a party of government like Democrates or Repulicans they are just citizens of both parties that refuse to give up the liberties that are afforded to us. If we do go quietly into the night... the only ones who will have the rights that we will loose will be those in the government and the criminals. well, I've signed my name in the past here, and it was followed by law enforcement crime against my property and juvenile letters of insult written anonymously by someone who just happens to use the same expressions as Tom Sockwell does publicly at the citizens towards whom he has such contempt. I never made this stuff up, and if anyone out there besides Sockwell considers themself a competent critic, tell me who would break into your home in a very Government way (I've written details here before) - followed the next day by a patrol car stopping in front of you at your driveway, flashing his high beams several times, then speeding off (my next-door neighbour is German and his elderly mother just departed back home after spending two months here in Kingman. She grew up under Hitler and her final words to me before climbing into the car for Las Vegas and a flight home were, "You have no freedoms here. It is better in Germany!").

They're not scared. Why should they be? The Roman legions learned how to defeat the Celtic giants by discipline and tactics (some deceit proved helpful too). And this Government has it all under wraps. Some are paid off, others given great opportunities to get paid off (the whore media/film industries), others assassinated, and so many others discredited through underhanded use of the criminal justice system. The best jobs are given away by the millions to enemy states, water and food altered for their New World Order ends, children pumped with ruinous vaccines followed by the requisite psychotropic drugs to keep them in line, and law enforcement/prosecutors, etc. give free reign by their wicked judge-bosses to destroy lives without legal restraint. And who is it here that alleges citizens are seditious or a threat???

Excellent letter. There are more of us than them. Please all that know the truth stand with those that have the guts to take a stand and speak words of truth and fire. We need everyone to wake up and smell the rotting meat in government nationwide and do work at our local levels.
May God give wisdom and courage to all in Mohave County and may He strike down the corrupt with mighty anger, vengeance and fury. Hell ain't a bad place to be, for the corrupt oppressors. I think they have their tickets in hand. We reap what we sow and it is harvest time.
The best thing they could do is step down and hang their heads in shame not likely for tyrants.

I find these tea party secessionists/seditonists/hooligans, quite entertaining, but as to their being threatening, most likely they for most part are harmless, frustrated, angry republicans at being in the political minority now due to their "fiscal conservatism" was proved a disaster, failure with their genius who ran this country into the ground with his 8 years of rule/reign, ole king george now has some angry listless peasants with their pitchforks on slings, threatening, demanding they be put back into the majority, but alas not going to happen, of course the only ones to fear is that .9% who fly their planes into IRS buildings, burn their homes down with wife/daughter inside, bull doz their homes down in anger at a foreclosure as if it harmed anyone but themselves!
