Q: *Why is it when there is a story about Golden Valley it goes to the front page of the KDM instead of being placed under Golden Valley news?
A: If it's a significant story, we want to put it where it's most visible.
Q: *How come we have not seen the February Births yet?
A: Unfortunately, we're no longer receiving that information. We were told it's a privacy issue.
Q: *Why is there such a high turnover of reporters and editors at the Kingman Daily Miner? I'm looking back over the last four years and the Miner has been through quite a few. Any explanation for the reason why? Some of them were quite good.
A: That's common at newspapers of this size.
Q: *why don't you request readers classify their letters into one of several categories, from which you can select a couple each week for the Miner front page? Some suggested categories --- 1. uplifting story/comments 2. concerns about government figures/policies (including victimhood issues) 3. personal disaster 4. trivial crap/waaahhhhh
A: Because it's not necessary.
Q: *I noticed the comments from readers about the Miner curbing their freedom of speech by limiting online comments. Weren't you tempted to point out that the Constitution makes that guarantee, not private newspapers. If they want unlimited speech, they should buy a printing press!
