Mohave 911: Monday, March 4, 2013

On Feb. 23, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Chantel B. Courtney, 24, and Nicholas Dean Miller, 22, for felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller was additionally charged with a misdemeanor count of making a false report. At about 10:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Courtney was driving. Deputies allegedly found a pipe with burnt residue and syringes. Miller's false report charge was filed after he initially gave deputies the wrong name. They were arrested without incident.

On Feb. 25, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested 42-year-old Craig Michael Newman of Kingman on a felony warrant for theft and burglary, along with a misdemeanor warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. During a search, deputies found a pipe on Newman with burnt residue. He was arrested without incident on the warrant and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 25, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Lee Jolly, 42, of Kingman on a felony warrant for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Jolly was at the sheriff's office updating those requirements when the outstanding warrant was found. He was arrested without incident.

On Feb. 27, Mohave County deputies arrested a 25-year-old Kingman man on a felony charge of credit card theft. Kristopher Allen Pazolt used the bankcard of a 19-year-old Kingman woman who reported her wallet was stolen from her vehicle and had been used a number of times. Pazolt, according to the sheriff's office, purchased energy drinks and cigarettes with the woman's card. When confronted by deputies, Pazolt said a friend gave him the card and he didn't realize it wasn't his friends until later.

On Feb. 28, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Walter Adcock, 30, and Kasey Lee Hanks, 29, both of Kingman on theft-related charges. Adcock was arrested for felony burglary; Hanks was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear out of Mohave County. Just before 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a theft report at a residence on Lum Avenue.

The homeowner told deputies somebody stole her home's air conditioner. A tipster led them to a neighbor's shed, where the unit was found torn down and ready to be sold for scrap. Adcock and Hanks were at the neighbor's property. Adcock reportedly told them a man in the alley gave him the air conditioner. Both men were taken into custody without incident.
